Math Bowling
Just a quick post from an activity we did this afternoon. We have started subtraction and today we went bowling to help us understand this concept. There were 3 students at each station, a scorekeeper, a bowler, and a bumper. The scorekeeper used the recording sheet to record, the bowler was the friend taking a turn to bowl, and the bumper sat behind the "pins" to catch the ball. Students rotated roles after each friend bowled. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and were learning at the same time. I love it when those two things are combined.
